What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

How long does delivery take?

Most lights and small items are dispatched within 1 working day from our UK warehouse. Most items are received within 1 to 2 days. However, in some cases packages may take up to 7 days. If your item has not arrived by that time, reach out and let us know. 

 

Are orders discreetly packaged?

Absolutely. All lights are discreetly packaged with no suspect labels or logos. 

 

What will it say on my Bank Statement?

We appreciate that most people don't want "Modern Horticulture LTD" on their bank statement. Your statement will show a charge for "Modern LTD". 

 

Where are you based? 

We are based in Brighton UK but we have warehouses in Milton Keynes, Europe and the USA.

 

What delivery courier do you use?

We offer fast shipping via DPD or YODEL. On rare occasions, some smaller items may be shipped by EVRI other local couriers.

 

What is your return policy?

We have a 30 day money back guarantee. So if you don't like it - no worries. Just pack it up and pop it back to us and we'll issue you a refund. Simple. Contact us for details.

We guarantee all purchases from us are free from defects and faults in workmanship or quality for 120 days after purchase. If defects arise after this 120 days. Buyers will have to contact the manufacturer to enact their warranty. We cannot accept responsibility for defects that arise after this 120 day period..

Do you believe in aliens?

Yes. I believe they are time travellers from the future.

 

Are you a VAT registered business?

Do you have a shop?

No. We are online only. That's how we keep our service fast and our prices low.  

  

My order has been flagged for fraud. Why is this?

Sometimes our banking software flags an order as having an elevated risk of fraud. This is something that happens around 1 time for every 100 orders and we are not always sure as to the reason. We are told that it is often due to inconsistencies with shipping / billing addresses, cardholder details or unusual spending patterns but we can never really be sure.

If our bank highlights your order as having a high risk of fraud we will reject it, refund the payment in full and invite you to make payment by alternative means.
